Hotel Reservations

A block of sleeping rooms has been established for individual reservations to be made by each participant at the federal per diem rate.  All participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. Registration for the meeting does not reserve your hotel room. Likewise, a reservation at the hotel does not register you for the meeting.

Celebrate the closing day of the 2013 HEP Project Directors’ Meeting by wearing your favorite college or university apparel! Thursday, March 28 will be School Spirit Day. All attendees are encouraged to participate. Dress in your school’s colors! T-shirts and sweatshirts with your school’s logo are welcome.

A room block is now available at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel
If you would like to make your reservations online, please visit the Mayflower reservation website.  You may also call Renaissance reservations toll-free number at 1.800.468-3571.  In doing so, please request the group rate using the group code “Education 2013”. Reservations by attendees must be received on or before Monday, March 4, 2013 to ensure the group rate.

Transportation to the meeting location will be provided daily.

Getting To The Meeting

Washington National (DCA)

The distance to the Washington Hilton is 6 miles.
Taxi fare is approximately $19.00 one way.
Super Shuttle fare is approximately $14 one way for the first passenger, $10 for each additional passenger.
Metro (Dupont Circle) fare is $2.80 each way and the ride is approximately 20-30 minutes.

Dulles International (IAD)

The distance to the hotel is 27 miles.
Taxi fare is approximately $55 each way and the ride is approximately 40 – 50 minutes.
Super Shuttle fare is approximately $29.00 for the first passenger, $10 for each additional passenger.
No Metro service is available from Dulles International.

Baltimore Washington International (BWI/Marshall)

The distance to the hotel is 33 miles.
Taxi fare is approximately $100 each way and the ride is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Super Shuttle $38 for the first passenger, $12 for each additional passenger.
No Metro service is available from Baltimore Washington International.

Bus Schedule

Complimentary transportation will be provided daily between the Omni Shoreham, Marriott Wardman Park, and the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel and the Washington Hilton.  Shuttle buses will run continuously during the times listed below:
